Turning her expertise and passion for planning into a lifelong event, A Soirée owner Nancy Mason has enjoyed a fruitful, eventful road on the way to establishing her event planning company.

Like many entrepreneurs, Nancy?s story begins at school. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Marketing/Advertising, Nancy spent two years working at a marketing consulting firm in Chicago, IL before the call of the sun, sand and sea convinced her to leave the office in 1996 for a career as a professional beach volleyball player.

Hard work and commitment led Nancy to becoming one of the top players on the AVP Pro Beach Tour. Also a member of the 2007 US Olympic Beach Volleyball team, Nancy has traveled extensively, from the beaches of Brazil to the Alps in Switzerland, to compete against the best teams in the world.

Taking the same principles of hard work and dedication from the beach and applying them to creating elegant events has been an easy transition for Nancy. While using these attributes to form strong relationships with her clients, Nancy pays close attention to detail and listens to your needs.
